At the Government House at Wellington this 10th day of
May 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the Waikato County Council stopping the portions of road
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block XVI, Hapuakohe
Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P.
0 1 25·2 Lot 4, D.P. 4950, and Lot 1, D.P. 13940, being
part Loan and Mercantile Grant.
0 0 12·3 Lot 1, D.P. 15524, being part Loan and Mercan-
tile Grant.
0 1 20·6 Lot 5, D.P. 4950, being part Loan and Mercantile
Grant.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 2652 (S.O. 40600) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street in the City of New
Plymouth, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 17th day of
May 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises
the New Plymouth City Council to permit the laying off of the
proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width
for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft,
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on Lots 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10 of a
subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked
M.O.W. 2629 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance
of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
THAT proposed street in the City of New Plymouth containing
34 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 6644, part
Lot 9, D.P. 8741, and part Lot 8, D.P. 7891, being part Sec-
tions 61, 56, and 65, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 2629 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Appointment of a Member of the Board of Directors of the
Reserve Bank of New Zealand

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment
Act 1936, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
appoints
Walter Stewart Otto, Esquire, of Auckland,
to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Reserve
Bank of New Zealand, to hold office during pleasure in accord-
ance with the provisions of section 7 of the said Act.

advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the
following order.

ORDER

  1. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby ex-
    cluded from the County of Wanganui and included in the
    City of Wanganui.
  2. The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and
    the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been
    effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
