NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 18th day of April 1961, the following special resolution was passed by the company, namely:

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of T. R. McLaughlin and Co. Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of T. R. McLaughlin and Co. Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 31st day of May 1961 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Rural Housing Loan 1961, £10,000

THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Mangonui County Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be raised by the Council under the above Act and the Rural Housing Act 1939 for the purposes of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one four pence (·14d.) in the pound on the unimproved value of all the rateable property within the County of Mangonui; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable yearly on the 15th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed at a meeting of the Mangonui County Council held in the Council Chambers, Kaitaia, on the 19th day of April 1961, and as appearing in the minutes of such meeting.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Bridges Loan 1960, £25,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Bridges Loan 1960, £25,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for financing the cost of erection of new or replacement bridges, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven seven pence (·077d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Katikati Town Riding Development Loan 1961, £8,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Katikati Town Riding Development Loan 1960, £8,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for making road, street, and other improvements in the Katikati Town Riding, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal two pence (1·2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Katikati Town Riding of the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1960, £25,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Taupo County Act 1954, the Taupo County Commissioner resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Taupo County under the above-mentioned Acts for the provision of staff housing, the Taupo County Commissioner hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six nine three pence (·0693d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Taupo; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed on the 5th day of April 1961.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Loan No. 2, 1961, £25,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting portion of the cost of renewing and constructing bridges in the County of Wanganui, the said Wanganui County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point one six one one five (·16115) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Wanganui; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at an ordinary meeting of the Wanganui County Council held on the 14th day of April 1961.
