Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 299 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being the land known as Rotokakahi A 3c 2E 2c Block, situated in Block XII, Whangape Survey District. Deeds index, 1c, page 362. (M.L.C. Plan 14181.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of April 1961.

ALL that piece of land containing 12 acres, more or less, being the land known as Allotment 129A, Pepepe Parish, situated in Block II, Newcastle Survey District. Balance deeds index, Volume 2g, folio 125.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:

0 0 8·3 Part Lot A, D.P. 2439, being part Section 366, Patea District.

Situated in Block XV, Hawera Survey District, Patea County. (S.O. 9215.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17244 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the First Schedule hereto and the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of May 1961.


FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 3 roods 4·4 perches, situated in Block VII, Titirangi Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 361, Parish of Waikomiti; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1899 (S.O. 42275) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.


SECOND SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 23·4 perches, situated in Block VII, Titirangi Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., and being Lot 1, D.P. 29585 and being part Allotment 223, Whau Township South; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked M.O.W. 1899 (S.O. 42275) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of April 1961.
