Notice of Meeting of Creditors
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Contract Cultivation Ltd. will be held on the 21st day of April 1961, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the registered office of the company, 15 Anzac Avenue, Dunedin, on Friday, 21 April 1961, at 2 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing an international airport at Mangere in accordance with the agreements entered into between the Government and the Auckland City Council dated 24 September 1960, inclusive of all costs of survey, planning, design, land acquisition, use and compensation, road diversions, construction, and for the provision of services, furniture, fittings, plant, equipment, and vehicles, payment of interest during construction, and any other costs that may arise in connection with the establishment of the international airport at Mangere and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five and one-quarter of a penny (5¼d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE AND LEVY SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Reticulation Loan 1960 of £102,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and principal repayments of a special loan of £102,000 to be known as Waterworks Reticulation Loan 1960 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of waterworks reticulation, the said Wanganui City Council makes and levies a special rate of 0·519 of a penny (1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Wanganui, the boundaries whereof are defined in the Gazette, 14 March 1957, No. 22, pages 485 and 486; 29 August 1957, No. 62, page 1579; 9 January 1958, No. 2 page 16; and 21 August 1958, No. 52, page 1104. And that such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years from the date of the raising of the said loan, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Wanganui City Council held on the 13th day of March 1961.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Elderly Persons Housing Loan 1961 of £25,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting housing units for elderly persons, the Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0184d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 10 April 1961.

TINUİ RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan 1960
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926, the Tinui Rabbit Board resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand four hundred pounds (£3,400) authorised to be raised by the Tinui Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a dwelling-house for occupation by an employee of the Board (Housing Loan 1960), the said Tinui Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-twentieths of a penny (7/20d.) upon every acre of such rateable land in the whole of the Board’s district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such a loan and be payable half-yearly on the first days of September and March in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of 15 years, or until the said loan is fully paid off”. 517 D.B. HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Henderson Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work namely, the development of land in the Borough of Henderson for housing purposes; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who may have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Thomas Street, Henderson.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Henderson, being Lot. No. 8 on Deposited Plan No. 34826 being part Allotment No. 8, Parish of Waipareira, and part certificate of title, Volume 985, folio 138, Auckland Registry.
