WAIRARAPA CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Whareama Plant and Depot Loan 1957, £4,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa
Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing a depot and plant at Tinui, the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of:

0·338d. in the pound on Class A land
0·130d. in the pound on Class B land
0·091d. in the pound on Class C land
0·078d. in the pound on Class D land
0·065d. in the pound on Class E land
0.052d. in the pound on Class F land

on the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the
Whareama Catchment Rating District in accordance with the
Special Rating Classification List and Plan deposited in the
office of the Board, and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board held on 18 February 1958.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waiohine Works and Depot Loan 1958, £12,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa
Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of constructing flood protection and prevention works and
building a depot, the Wairarapa Catchment Board hereby
makes a special rate of

0·459d. in the pound on Class A
0·436d. in the pound on Class B
0·371d. in the pound on Class C
0·327d. in the pound on Class D
0·260d. in the pound on Class E
0·140d. in the pound on Class F

on the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the
Waiohine-Mangatarere Rivers Rating District in accordance
with the Special Rating Classification List and Plan deposited
in the office of the Board, and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board held on 22 July 1958.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Catch-
ment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing plant, the Wairarapa Catchment Board hereby
makes a special rate of

0·382d. in the pound on Class A
0·364d. in the pound on Class B
0·309d. in the pound on Class C
0·273d. in the pound on Class D
0·220d. in the pound on Class E
0·125d. in the pound on Class F

on the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the
Waiohine-Mangatarere Rivers Rating District in accordance
with the Special Rating Classification List and Plan deposited
in the office of the Board, and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wai-
rarapa Catchment Board held on 22 July 1958.

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reconstruction Loan 1960, £57,000
Public notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wai-
rarapa Electric Power Board held on the 23rd day of March
1961, the following resolution was passed:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the
Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £57,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa
Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
reconstruction of the reticulation system within the Wairarapa
Electric Power District, the said Wairarapa Electric Power
Board hereby makes a special rate of one-twentyfifth of a
penny (¹⁄₂₅d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value on
the basis of the capital value of all rateable property of the
Wairarapa Electric Power District, and that the special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £42,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing a water supply to the County Town of
Maungaturoto, the said Otamatea County Council hereby
makes a special rate of eleven decimal two five pence
(11·25d.) in the pound upon the rateable (unimproved)
value of all rateable property in the County Town of
Maungaturoto; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

This resolution was passed at a meeting of the Otamatea
County Council held on Wednesday, 15 March 1961.

BOROUGH OF EAST COAST BAYS

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953 AND AMENDMENTS

Public notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of
the East Coast Bays Borough Council, it is proposed to change
the zoning of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 42336, Beach Road, Brown’s
Bay, from Industrial “A” to Industrial “C”.

Objections to the above amendment to the scheme shall be
in writing in the form No. E prescribed in the First Schedule
to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and
shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not
later than Tuesday, 1 August 1961.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
the objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within
the period of which public notice will be given.
