PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,100 authorised to be raised by the Opotoki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of recouping District Fund for expenditure on the installation of a sewerage scheme and on river protection works, the said Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point five five of a penny (.55d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £13,850 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing and extending drainage and sewerage disposal works within the Borough of Opotiki, the said Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal point one pence (1·1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1960, £15,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hastings City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Hastings City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of flats for aged persons, the said Hastings City Council hereby makes a special rate of three one hundredths of a penny (0·03d.) in the pound upon the rateable value based on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Hastings comprising the whole of the City of Hastings; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
