A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District, Otago R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 1 14 Section 28.
9 2 16 Sections 1, 2, and 11.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2426 (S.O. 12861) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of April 1961.

Street Closed in the City of Napier and Added to Land Acquired for the Purposes of the Housing Act 1955

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that the street described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of street containing 38·6 perches situated in the City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and adjoining or passing through parts Lots 12, 24, and 25, D.P. 6257, part Te Whare-o-Maraenui Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2159 (S.O. 3180) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 234 acres 3 roods 28 perches situated in the City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being all the land comprised and described in the Second Schedule of Proclamation 116164, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of April 1961.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a recreation ground.

The Western Side of Portion of Ruru Street in the City of Auckland Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 4th day of April 1961

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the 12th day of December 1960, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

THE Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the western side of Ruru Street fronting a subdivision of part Lot 15, D.R.O. 45, blue, being part Allotment 2B, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland, comprised in certificate of title 557/142, and more particularly shown coloured red on plan A. 2757/2.

SECOND SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

THE western side of all that portion of Ruru Street in the City of Auckland fronting part Lot 15, Deeds Plan 45, blue, being part Allotment 2B, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2434 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Laying Off of Portion of a New Street off Seddon Street Extension in the Borough of Rangiora at a Width of Less than 66 ft but Not Less than 48 ft 10 in.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 4th day of April 1961

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Rangiora Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 48 ft 10 in., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule as M.O.W. 1919 within a distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that proposed street situated in the Borough of Rangiora containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 34·7 perches, and being part Rural Section 1045; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1919 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Approving Variation of Agreement Between the Minister of Works and Consolidated Zinc Proprietary Ltd

THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to clause 25 of the agreement dated 19 January 1960 between Her Majesty the Queen and the Consolidated Zinc Proprietary Ltd. as validated by the Manapouri-Te Anau Development Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the agreement completed on the 24th day of March 1961 between the Minister of Works and Consolidated Zinc Proprietary Ltd., whereby the date 28 April 1961 is substituted for 31 March 1961 in paragraphs (c) and (d) of clause 6 and in clause 22 of the said agreement dated 19 January 1960.
