Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XII, Wairoa Survey District, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waitotara and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 25 perches situated in Block XII, Wairoa Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Lots 3 and 13, D.P. 10, being part Section 299, Okotuku District situated between Kaipo Road (No. 3 State Highway) and Kells Street in the Township of Waitotara. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2177 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Thames County Council: Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Thames County Council in the interest of the Thames County district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of May 1962 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of May 1962.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for an access way to a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Raumati Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
