The Kaiapoi Borough Council Electric Lines Licence 1961

THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
LICENCE

This order may be cited as the Kaiapoi Borough Council Electric Lines Licence 1961.

Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Kaiapoi Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines in the area described in the Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (d), (e), and (f), of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1982.

The Order in Council dated the 15th day of October 1918, and published in the Gazette on the 17th day of the same month, authorising the licensee to erect and use electric lines is hereby revoked.

AREA OF SUPPLY
ALL that area in the Borough of Kaiapoi and in the counties of Eyre and Rangiora shown edged green on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 557 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

The Central Hawke’s Bay College Board of Governors Order 1961

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 27th day of March 1961
Present:
THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Central Hawke’s Bay College Board of Governors Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of May 1961.
- The constitution of the Board of Governors of Central Hawke’s Bay College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board:
(b) Two members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Waipukurau School District or the Terrace School District:
(c) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Waipawa School District:
(d) Two members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Ruataniwha School District, the Onga Onga School District, the Springhill School District, the Tikokino School District, the Otane School District, the Pukehou School District, the Poukawa School District, the Argyll East School District, the Wakarara School District, or the Te Hauke Maori School District:
(e) One member elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, being parents who are resident in the Pukeora School District, the Takapau School District, the Marakeke School District, the Hatuma School District, the Wallingford School District, the Flemington School District, the Porangahau School District, the Wilder School District, the Ouerora School District, the Ponana School District, the Omakere School District, the Punawaitai School District, the Ashley Clinton School District, the Makaretu North School District, the Orapa School District, or the Mangaorapa School District:
(f) One member appointed by the Governor-General:
(g) One member appointed by the Waipukurau Borough Council:
(h) One member appointed by the Waipawa Borough Council.
- The Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the school districts to which paragraphs (b), (c), (d), and (e) of clause 2 of this order applies.

Setting Apart Native Customary Land in Niue Island as a Native Reservation

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 27th day of March 1961
Present:
THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 487 of the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart and reserves the Native customary land described in the Schedule hereto as a Native reservation for the purposes of a village hall site for the common use and benefit of the residents of Alofi South.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 19 perches, more or less, situated in the District of Alofi in the island of Niue, Cook Islands, and being the whole of the land known as part Fakaleaina Section 1, Alofi District, as the same is delineated and edged red on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner of Niue and deposited in the office of the Registrar, Native Land Court, Niue, under No. 30B.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for better utilisation.
