Land Taken at Brighton Beach for Railway Purposes

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Railway purposes.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken:

A. R. P. Being
0 2 13·7 Part Section 5, Block I, Otokia Survey District.
Situated in Taieri County. (S.O. 12971.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17174 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of March 1961.

Crown Land and Land Held for Better Utilisation Set Apart for an Animal Research Station in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, and Previous Proclamation Revoked

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 20th day of October 1960 and published in Gazette, 8 December 1960, No. 81, page 1912, setting apart Crown land and land held for better utilisation for an animal research station in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, and hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto and the land now held for better utilisation described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for an animal research station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of April 1961.


FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 2 roods 22·6 perches situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 82, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160221 (S.O. 23708) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.


SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
22 2 23·9 Part Section 81, Hutt District; coloured orange on plan.
13 1 8·5 Part Section 82, Hutt District; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160221 (S.O. 23708) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1961.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a special school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of April 1961.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of public reserve containing 1 rood 28·1 perches situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., being part Lot 549, D.P. 38963, being part Allotments 4 and 231, District of Tamaki; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2378 (S.O. 42593) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1961.
