Limited Speed Zone Declared

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

Situated within Cook County at Manutuke:

Wairoa-Manutuke (via Mangapoi) Road (also known as Waingake Road) from its junction with Taurau Valley Road to a point 6 chains west of the junction of the said Wairoa-Manutuke (via Mangapoi) Road with the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne).

Revocation of Approval to Issue Warrants of Fitness

Pursuant to subclause (3) of regulation 52 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the approval of the firm described in the Schedule hereto to issue warrants of fitness for motor vehicles.

Licensing the Christchurch City Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of Day's Harbour, Sumner, as a Site for a Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Christchurch City Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Day's Harbour at Sumner, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10939 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling (1s.) payable on demand.

3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of February 1961.
