Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Ceylon
COBHAM, Governor-General
To Guy Richardson Powles, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, residing in New Delhi.
PURSUANT to the External Affairs Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoint you to be the High Commissioner for New Zealand in Ceylon, to hold office for the term commencing on the 28th day of February 1961 and ending with the 1st day of July 1962, subject, however, to the provisions of the said Act.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of March 1961.

Notice of Intention to Issue Proclamation Closing a Street and Vesting in Her Majesty the Queen as Crown Land, Subject to the Land Act 1948
COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1955, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention, after the expiration of three months from the date hereof, to issue a Proclamation closing the street described in the Schedule hereto and declaring the land to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
Plans showing this land are deposited in the office of the Town Clerk, Naseby, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, and the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, where they may be inspected during office hours free of charge.
Any objections to the proposal are to be made in writing addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, on or before the 31st day of July 1961.

Part Leven Street adjoining Sections 172 and 173 and Crown Land, Block I, and Section 3, closed street, and Crown Land, Block X, Town of Naseby, and Section 94, Block I, Naseby Survey District, containing 1 rood 6'9 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Naseby.
