A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of additional land taken:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 6·4 Part Lot 1, D.P. 2697, being part Kai Iwi 6d; coloured sepia.
1 0 20·6 Part Kai Iwi 6E; coloured orange.
0 0 5·2 Part stream bed; coloured blue.

All situated in Block XV, Nukumaru Survey District, Waitotara County. (S.O. 24874.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17193 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street and that the said street shall be under the control of the Lower Hutt City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the road shall be under the control of the Southland County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, now held for the development of water power (Ngongotaha substation), the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, now held for the development of water power (Arapuni scheme), and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, now held for the purposes of a substation site, are hereby set apart for electricity purposes (substation); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of April 1961.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Lot 28, D.P. 7530, being part Section 28, Suburbs of Ngongotaha; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115164 (S.O. 31770) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 29 perches situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, Auckland R.D., being Section 33, Ngongotaha Suburbs; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86497 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 30 perches situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, Auckland R.D., being Section 32, Ngongotaha Suburbs; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61567 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
