"That the special rate referred to in the resolution as
printed in Gazette, No. 11, of 16 February 1961, be amended
from 0·023 pence in the pound (£), to 0·032 pence in the
pound (£)."

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN THE BOROUGH OF
MOUNT EDEN FOR RECREATION PURPOSES

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for recreation purposes;
and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Borough Council at Mount Eden and there is open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land set forth the same in writing and send the writing,
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of Mount Eden.

SCHEDULE

NORTH Auckland Land District, situated off Mount Eden Road, all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Mount Eden described as follows: Twenty-three decimal nine perches (23·9 perches) portion of Allotment 53 of the Suburbs of Auckland, all certificate of title, Volume 758, folio 215, Auckland Registry, being limited as to parcels and to title.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF PIAKO COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME

Section II—Waitoa: Section III—Morrisville-Tatuanui
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to resolutions made on the 17th day of November 1958, relating to Section II, and on the 17th day of March 1959, relating to Section III, two sections of a district scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Section II of the Scheme relates to the Waitoa Township and Section III relates to the area surrounding the Borough of Morrisville (excluding the said borough) and the area of the Tatuanui Township.
The two sections of the scheme have been deposited at the County Office, Kenrick Street, Te Aroha, and are there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the County Office is open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the County Office at any time not later than 5 p.m. on 31 July 1961.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
