Land Taken for Buildings of the General Government in the
Town District of Lumsden

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General
Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 20th day of March 1961.

SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood situated in Block I,
Hokonui Survey District, Town District of Lumsden, being
Lot 14, Block VIII, D.P. 98A, and being part Section 320.
All certificate of title, Volume 115, folio 279, Southland
Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 8th day of March 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an institution
established under the Child Welfare Act 1925; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 20th day of March 1961.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre situated in Block IV,
Moutere Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Lots 1 to 4,
Block IV, Hokio Maori Township, being part Horowhenua
XI B No. 42. Part certificate of title, Volume 365, folio 233,
Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

An Easement Over Land Taken for a Microwave Radio
Repeater Station in Blocks VI and VII, Otanake Survey
District

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that an easement of right of
way is hereby taken for a microwave radio repeater station
over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in
Her Majesty the Queen the full and free liberty, right, licence,
and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of
way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and
workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to
go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals
or vehicles, over and along the land described in the said
Schedule, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the
said right of way, such right of way to be held appurtenant
to the area of 1 acre 1 rood 26·1 perches in Proclamation
S. 195979 and to the land in Proclamation S. 198096, Auck-
land Land Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 20th day of March 1961.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the Otanake Survey Dis-
trict, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

on plan.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry and shall vest
in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County
of Tauranga as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 20th day of March 1961.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 16·4 perches,
being part Section 9, Block I, Katikati Survey District; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 2308 (S.O. 40206) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of March 1961.
