INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Loan 1960, £20,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the extension of the electricity distribution system of the City of Invercargill and associated electrical works, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five eight pence in the pound (0·058d.) on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, 28 February 1961.

ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 1st day of March 1961, cancelled the registry of Court Makakahi, No. 8382, of the Wellington District of the Ancient Order of Foresters (Register No. 144/27), held at Wellington, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 3rd day of March 1961, cancelled the registry of St. Paul’s Branch, No. 900, a branch of the New Zealand District of the Hibernian-Australasian Catholic Benefit Society (Register No. 198/124) held at Christchurch, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108 (a) of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves by way of special order to make and levy a consolidated special rate of two shillings and seven pence and nine hundred and twenty-six thousandths of a penny (2s. 7·926d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, such consolidated special rate to be in lieu of the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto to provide for interest and other charges on the loans specified in the said Schedule; and that such consolidated special rate shall be an annually recurring rate and be due and payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year until the said loans are fully paid off.
