BOROUGH OF EAST COAST BAYS
THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953 AND AMENDMENTS
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the East Coast Bays Borough Council, it is proposed to change the zoning of Lot 23, D.P. 26535, of Allotments 170, 180, Takapuna Parish, View Road, from Commercial “A” to Residential.
Objections to the above amendment to the scheme shall be in writing in the form No. E. prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Monday, 3 July 1961.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objections will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of the objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926 and of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Waipukurau County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Waipukurau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of rural housing, the said Waipukurau County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·06d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved valuation) of all rateable property within the County of Waipukurau; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waipukurau County Council held on the 3rd day of November 1960.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reserves Development Loan (No. 7) 1960, £37,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-seven thousand pounds (£37,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing the third stage of a grandstand at Fraser Park, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two hundred and ninety-six thousandths of a penny (0·296d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on the 27th day of February 1961.

WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westland County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Westland County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new workshop at Kaniere, the said Westland
County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·25d. in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Westland County Council; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on 1 April and 1 October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westland County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Westland County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the establishing of a power station at Lake Wahapo and electrical reticulation of the Whataroa District, the said Westland County Council hereby makes a special rate of 9d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Whataroa Hydro Special-rating Area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on 21 May and 21 November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimea County Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand four hundred pounds (£5,400) authorised to be raised by the Waimea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of Faulkner’s Reserve, the said Waimea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one sixty-sixth of one penny (¹/₆₆d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Waimea; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April on each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waimea County Council held on the 10th day of February 1961.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Drainage Loan 1960, £35,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £35,000, to be known as the Drainage Loan 1960, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of laying sewers and storm-water drains in the Pages Road area, and extending sewers and storm-water drains in the Hillview Crescent area, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and forty-seven thousandths of a penny (0·147d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 27th day of February 1961.
