Notice of Intention to Take Land in the Borough of
Westport for State Housing Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land
described in the Schedule hereto for State housing purposes;
and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at
Westport and is there open for inspection; and that all persons
affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have
any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, set
forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40
days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister
of Works at Wellington.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land in the Nelson Land District containing
2 roods 20 perches situated in the Borough of Westport,
Nelson R.D., being Sections 499 and 500 and part of Section
498, Town of Westport, and being that block of land at the
north-west corner of Russell and Bentham Streets having
frontages of 625 links and 250 links to those streets respec-

Notice of Practice Bombing

It is hereby notified that practice bombing will take place
from time to time in the area known as Valkner Island Prac-
tice Bombing Range, being the area described in the Schedule
hereunder.
All aircraft, using this area will be duly authorised for
this purpose by the Commanding Officer, RNZAF Station,
Ohakea.

SCHEDULE
THAT area, situated near White Island in the Bay of Plenty
and enclosed in a circle having a radius of 3,000 yards centred
at a point on Valkner Island, the position of which is: lati-
tude, 37:28:45 S; longitude, 177:08:10 E.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the
Hokianga County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for a public
hall to a reserve for a site for a public pound, and further,
vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Hokianga, in trust, for public
pound purposes.
