advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises
the Hastings City Council to permit the laying off of a pro-
posed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for
part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft,
subject as to a condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green
on the plan marked M.O.W. 2207 referred to in the said
Schedule within a distance of 20ft from the side line of the
said street.

THAT proposed street containing by admeasurement 28-7
perches, more or less, situated in the City of Hastings, Hawke's
Bay R.D., and being part Lot 18, D.P. 2408, part Lot 2, D.P.

12 ft, and Revoking Previous Order in Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 27th day of
February 1961

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 8 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of
the Dunedin City Corporation and acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes
the Order in Council dated the 10th day of August 1960,
and published in Gazette, 18 August 1960, No. 53, page 1233,
directing the laying out of an access way in the City of
Dunedin at a width of more than 12 ft, and hereby directs
that the width of the proposed access way described in the
Schedule hereto shall be at a width for parts of its length of
more than 12 ft but not more than 18 ft.

ALL that proposed access way containing 15β€’46 perches

Pursuant to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends
the Order in Council dated 6 February 1946, and published
in Gazette, 7 February 1946, Volume I, page 121, and regis-
tered in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under
No. 2079, exempting the southern side of Restell Street
in the City of Christchurch from the provisions of section
128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a condition
as to building line, by cancelling the condition as to the
building line imposed by the said Order in Council.

Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Waikato Central
    Rabbit District Order 1961.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Waikato Central Rabbit District,
    which was constituted by Order in Council on the 17th day
    of October 1932,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as
    from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the
    said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIKATO CENTRAL RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area in the South Auckland Land District in Waipa
and Matamata Counties containing 62,900 acres, more or less,
bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of
the Waikato River in line with the eastern boundary of
Allotment 19, Pukekura Parish, in Block IX, Cambridge
Survey District, and proceeding easterly generally up the
middle of the Waikato River, to and southerly along the
western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the Borough
of Cambridge, as described in Gazette, 1958, page 1732, to
the middle of the Waikato River; thence easterly and southerly
generally up the middle of that river and Arapuni Lake
to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of
Section 2 of Allotment 1 of Lot 1 of Section 1, Block XV,
Maungatautari Survey District; thence along a right line
crossing a public road, to and along the north-eastern
boundary along a right line across Mangare Road, to and
along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 23244, to
and north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary
of part Section 26, Tautari Settlement, along a right line
across Te Ana Road, to and along the south-eastern
boundaries of Lots 1 and 3, D.P. S. 5973, and along another
part of the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid part
Section 26 and that boundary produced across the Arapuni-
Kihikihi road, to and northerly generally along its north-
eastern side, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of
Sections 36 and 29, Tautari Settlement, to and along the
southern boundary of Maungatautari 3A 5B Block, to and
down the middle of the Waiteti Stream to its intersection
with the Matamata County; thence north-westerly generally
along that county boundary, as described in Gazette, 1950,
page 277, to Maungatautari Trig. Station 1427 in Block
VII, Maungatautari Survey District; thence south-westerly
along a right line to the easternmost corner of part Maunga-
tautari 4G Block (Pukeatua); thence along the south-eastern
boundary of that block and along the south-eastern
and south-western boundaries of part Maungatautari 4G 2
Block crossing the intervening public roads, to and along the
south-eastern boundary of part Maungatautari 4H 1 Block,
to and along the north-eastern boundaries of that part 4H 1
Block, Section 9, Block VI, Section 3, Block V, the northern
end of Koroko Road, and the north-eastern boundary of
Section 2, Block V, both blocks being of Maungatautari
Survey District, to and along eastern and generally northern
boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 33188, along the north-eastern
boundaries of part Section 10s, Sections 5s, 4s, 2s, and 1s,
all the aforesaid sections being of Puahue Settlement, and the
last-mentioned boundary produced to and down the middle
of Mangapiko Stream to the western side of the Te Awamutu-
Cambridge road in Block IV, Puniu Survey District; thence
north-easterly generally along that western roadside to and
along the eastern boundaries of Allotments 18 and 19, Puke-
kura Parish, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the
point of commencement.

resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand
Army:
