BOROUGH OF EAST COAST BAYS
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the East Coast Bays Borough Council, it is proposed to change the zoning of Lot 55, D.P. 15649, of 2 of Allotment 189, Takapuna Parish, Block IV, Waitemata S.D., Ridge Road, from Commercial "A" to Residential.
Objections to the above amendment to the scheme shall be in writing in the form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Monday, 5 June 1961.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objections will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of the objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF WAIPAWA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Waipawa County Council made on the 16th day of July 1959, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the County of Waipawa. The scheme has been deposited at the offices of the Waipawa County Council, 32 Ruataniwha Street, Waipawa, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time while the office is open to the public.
Objection to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the offices of the Council at any time not later than 31 January 1961. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL
DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT SYSTEM OF RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE
PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Pohangina, taken on the 18th day of February 1961, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said county be on the unimproved value:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was....... 380
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was...... 238
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

ELECTION OF MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS
I hereby give public notice of the result of the casual election, held on Tuesday, the 21st day of February 1961, to fill one casual vacancy on the Board of Governors of Canterbury Agricultural College, as follows:
One member to be elected by the Members of the House of Representatives as for the time being represent electoral districts wholly or partly within the provincial district of Canterbury:
Herbert John Walker, being the only nomination received at the closing of nominations on Tuesday, the 7th day of February 1961, declared duly elected to hold office subject to the provisions of the Canterbury Agricultural College Act 1930, its amendments, and electoral by-laws.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
