Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land for a Public School in Block VII, Kumeu Survey District

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 12·6 perches situated in Block VII, Kumeu Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Lot 12, D.P. 9960. Balance certificate of title, Volume 1109, folio 185, Auckland Land Registry.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Bay of Islands

THE public notice given on 15 February 1956, and published in Gazette, 1 March 1956, Vol. I, page 275, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, granting approval to the Bay of Islands County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by four sections is hereby varied by deleting the Third Schedule thereto describing the Moerewa Section of the Scheme and substituting the following:

Moerewa Section

"ALL that area in Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Otiria Stream, in line with the eastern boundary of Motatau No. 4H 6A Block, and running generally north-easterly down the middle of that stream to the intersection with a right line on the north-eastern side of, parallel to, and 727 links distant from the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 25762; thence south-easterly along that line to the middle of the Awanui-Bluff State Highway No. 1; thence south-easterly along the middle of that highway to a point 323 links distant to the east, measured at right angles to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 25762; thence south-easterly along a right line parallel to the aforesaid north-eastern boundary to the middle of the Waiharakeke River; thence generally south-westerly and westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Motatau No. 4H 5 Block; thence generally north-westerly along a right line to and along that north-eastern boundary, and along the northern boundaries of the said No. 4H 5 Block and of Motatau No. 4H 3 Block, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Motatau No. 4H 6A Block aforementioned; thence along a right line to and along that boundary, and along that boundary produced, to the middle of the Otiria Stream, the point of commencement."

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Lower Hutt City Council (Notice of Extension of the Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Lower Hutt City Council in the interests of the Lower Hutt City District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of May 1961 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of May 1961.

Declaration That Reserves Form Part of the W. Douglas Lysnar Domain
