Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of
the Clifton No. 2 Domain

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a
reserve for recreation purposes and further, pursuant to the
Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to
be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of
the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Clifton No. 2
Domain to be administered as a public domain by the
Domain Board.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

SECTIONS 6 and 7, Block V, Clive Survey District: Area, 10
acres 3 roods 36 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 3052 and

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Rotorua Borough
Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a
reserve for off-street parking and further, pursuant to the
Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in
the Rotorua Borough Council, in trust, for that purpose.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Te Kaha Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date
of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to
the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated
13 January 1932 and published in the Gazette, 21 January
1932, Volume I, page 115.

  1. Tubular knitted cotton shirtings.
  2. Knitted cotton piece goods for shirtings.
  3. Knitted cotton/nylon piece goods for shirtings.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of
Customs

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of
the under-mentioned goods under item 199 (1) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Wire reinforced rubber or neoprene hose of 1½ in. or 2 in.
internal diameter suitable for use with vacuum cleaners.

The application will not be dealt with until 16 March 1961
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should
do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag,
Wellington, on or before 16 March 1961.

Tariff Notice—Application for Withdrawal of Approval of
the Minister of Customs

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for
withdrawal of the approval, by the Minister of Customs, of
the under-mentioned goods under item 448 (3) of the Cus-
toms Tariff of New Zealand:

(a) Dodecyl benzene sulphonic acid.
(b) Liquid detergents based on alkyl aryl sulphonates.
(c) Liquid detergents based on secondary alykl sulphates.

These organic detergents are subject to 3 per cent primage
when imported in bulk from any source.

The application will not be dealt with until 16 March 1961
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should
do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag,
Wellington, on or before 16 March 1961.
