Agreement for Grant of Easement in Favour of Ada Rogers,
Wife of Frank Rogers, of Dunedin, Spare-parts Salesman,
Over Land in the City of Dunedin Taken for the Purposes of
a Secondary School (Students' Hostel), Assented to

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 26th day of February
1954, and published in Gazette, 4 March 1954, Vol. I, page 330,
an area of land comprising 12·5 perches, being Allotment 3,
Deeds Plan 408, and being part Section 24, Block IV, Upper
Kaikorai District (hereinafter referred to as “the said land”),
was taken together with the rights of way created by Deeds
No. 22093 and 27706, Otago Land Registry, for the purposes of
a secondary school (students’ hostel):
And whereas Ada Rogers, wife of Frank Rogers, of Dunedin,
spare-parts salesman, has agreed to grant to the Crown a right
of way over part Lot 2, Deeds Plan 408, being part Section 24,
Upper Kaikorai District (C.T. 254/203), Otago Land Registry
(limited as to parcels):
And whereas the said Ada Rogers is entitled to compensation
for the acquisition by the Crown of the said right of way:
And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant, and
the said Ada Rogers has agreed to accept, a right of way over
an area of approximately seven-tenths of a perch (0·7 perches),
being part of the said land, in full satisfaction of the compen-
sation as aforesaid, such right of way to be for ever hereafter
appurtenant to the land described in certificate of title, Volume
254, folio 203, Otago Land Registry (limited as to parcels):
Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice,
pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he
assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
