COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby pro-
claim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto; and also hereby take the land described in the Third
Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the
said section 29.

FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

Land Proclaimed as Road

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Motuotaraia
Survey District, Patangata County, Hawke’s Bay R.D., de-
scribed as follows:

2 0 27 Part Lot 2, D.P. 2485, being part Block 85,
Waipukurau Crown Grant District; coloured
orange on plan.
0 0 26·7 Part Lot 1, D.P. 2487, being part Block 85,
Waipukurau Crown Grant District; coloured

2 3 19 Part Lot 1, D.P. 2487, being part Block 85,
Waipukurau Crown Grant District; coloured
blue on plan.
0 0 9·6 Part Lot 2, D.P. 2487, being part Block 85,

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 2041 (S.O. 3257) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Road Closed

ALL that portion of road containing 1 acre 3 roods 31·6
perches situated in Block IV, Motuotaraia Survey District,
Patangata County, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and adjoining or pass-
ing through Lot 2, D.P. 2485, and part Lot 1, D.P. 2487,
being part Block 85, Waipukurau Crown Grant District; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 2041 (S.O. 3257) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

THIRD SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

Land Taken

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 33·6 perches
situated in Block IV, Motuotaraia Survey District, Patangata
County, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being part Lot 1, D.P. 2487,
being part Block 85, Waipukurau Crown Grant District; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 2041 (S.O. 3257) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue,
edged blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 15th day of February 1961.

Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government
road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no
longer required.

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the
Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the
Maori Land Court by an order dated the 19th day of
March 1957, to be road.

Amending a Proclamation Proclaiming Land as Street in the
Borough of Huntly

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby amend the Proclamation dated the 30th day of Sep-
tember 1960, and published in Gazette, 6 October 1960, No. 64,
page 1559, proclaiming land as street in the Borough of Huntly,
by deleting the words “Part certificate of title, Volume 1112,
folio 274, Auckland Land Registry” in the Schedule to the said
Proclamation and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
“Part certificates of title, Volume 1112, folio 274, and Volume
339, folio 74, Auckland Land Registry”.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of February 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a road
desired to be constructed over Blocks VII, VIII, and XII,
Tauhara Survey District, viz, a portion of Tirau-Napier State
Highway No. 5 (Opepe-Tauhara Deviation), shall be defined
and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within
the limits of the area bounded by red lines shown on the plan
marked M.O.W. 2059 referred to in the Schedule hereto.
