1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

Licensing the Roose Shipping Co. Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Waikato Heads, Waikato River, as a Site for a Wharf

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Roose Shipping Co. Ltd., of Mercer (hereinafter called "the company", which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Waikato Heads, Waikato River, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).
3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of April 1961.
4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby revokes the notice of the 11th day of February 1958, published in the Gazette, 20 February 1958, Vol. I, page 212, licensing Te Anau Boating Club to use and occupy a part of the bed of the lake at Bluegum Point, Lake Te Anau, as a site for a jetty, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10223 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
