Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work Near Tiroiti and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 20th day of February 1961.

Licensing Te Anau Boating Club to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of Lake Te Anau as a Site for a Jetty
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Te Anau Boating Club (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Te Anau, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10857 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).
- The jetty shall be lighted.
- The licensee shall not be entitled to any compensation in respect of any loss arising from the alteration of the lake level for hydro-electric purposes.
- The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of February 1961.

Licensing Colin Scott Jones to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at South Bay, Kaikoura, as a Site for a Slipway
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Colin Scott Jones, of Kaikoura (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at South Bay, Kaikoura, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10912 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE - This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).
- The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of February 1961.
- The licensee shall not at any time leave on the roadside any fish boxes or fish pots or any other gear.

Licensing the Te Aroha-Thames Valley Cooperative Dairy Co. Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Waihou River at Te Aroha as a Site for a Shipping Jetty
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Te Aroha-Thames Valley Cooperative Dairy Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called “the licensee”, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Waihou River at Te Aroha, as shown on plan marked M.D. 7126 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a shipping jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE - This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).
- The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of April 1961.
- The master of any vessel discharging ballast at the said shipping jetty shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Queen Charlotte Yacht Club, of Picton (hereinafter called “the licensee”, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Picton, Picton Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8510 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a clubhouse thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
