Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the Ngaitatua, Ngatirere, Ngatiraka, and Te Whakatane hapus and other Maoris living in the district.

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, relinquishment of temporary rank, promotions, extensions of commissions and date of retirement, termination of commission, and resignation of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointment
Flying Officer David Lloyd Finn (77296) is granted a permanent commission in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, with his present rank and seniority, with effect from 16 August 1960.

Extension of Date of Retirement
The age for retirement of Squadron Leader Morgan Brownson Edwards, o.b.e., p.s.a. (78669), is extended for a further period of one year, with effect from 14 December 1960.
