SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE ARIA RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the South Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts, Counties of Waitomo and Taumarunui, containing 355,900 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block II, Totoro Survey District, being the intersection of the Mangapehei Road with the middle of the Mokau River and proceeding easterly generally up the middle of the Mokau River to and along the middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Otanake Survey District; thence along a right line to and along that boundary, the eastern end of a public road and its production to and up the middle of the Mangaokewa Stream and the middle of the Mahorehore Stream flowing through Blocks VIII, Otanake, and V and VI, Pakaumanu Survey Districts, to and along the southern boundaries of Sections 8 and 9, Block VI, aforesaid the southern end of the intervening public road, the southern end of the land reserved under Section 122 of the Land Act 1908 and that boundary produced to and up the middle of the Waipa River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 67B 1A Block; thence along a right line to and along that boundary, along the western boundary of part Rangitoto-Tuhua 60B Block to and up the middle of Tunawaea Stream, along the western and southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 7232, the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 35582, to a point due east of the northernmost corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 8021; thence along a right line to that northernmost corner and south-easterly and westerly generally along the boundary of the County of Waitomo as described in Gazette, 1958, page 1043, being along the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 8021 aforesaid to the easternmost corner of that lot; thence along a right line across Section 1, Block IX, Ranginui Survey District to and along the north-eastern boundary of part Rangitoto 34A Block, the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Rangitoto A. 33 Block, the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Rangitoto A. 32B 2 Block, the north-eastern boundaries of Rangitoto A. 32A and A. 31A Blocks and the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Rangitoto A. 31B Block to the intersection of that boundary with a right line running between Trig. Station 1641, Rangitoto in Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, and source of the Ongarue River in Block III, Hurakia Survey District; thence along that right line to and down the middle of the Ongarue River to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block X, Hurakia Survey District; thence generally southerly along a right line, to and along the western boundary and the western and southern boundaries of Section 5, Block X aforesaid, crossing an intervening public road and the Okauaka River, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Hurakia Survey District; thence along a right line crossing a public road to and along that north-western boundary, to and along the northern and north-western boundaries of part Rangitoto-Tuhua 10 Block, to and generally westerly along the northern and north-western boundaries of Section 2, Block I, Puketapu Survey District and along a right line being that boundary produced across a public road to and along the northern boundary of Section 2, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Section 1, the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 5, and 4, the aforesaid sections being of Block IV, Tuhua Survey District, along the south-eastern boundary of Section 13, Block XIV, Ongarue Survey District, and a right line being that boundary produced across a public road to and along the generally northern and western boundaries of Section 3, Block IV, Tuhua Survey District aforesaid, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 2 and 1, Block III, Tuhua Survey District, to and generally north-westerly down the middle of the Mangatukutuku Stream and up the middle of the Ongarue River, to and generally westerly along the southern boundary of Block III, Tangitu Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of Waitomo County as described in Gazette, 1956, page 423 to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 10, and 9, Block V, Tangitu Survey District, to and northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block IV, Aria Survey District to Kakara Road; thence westerly and southerly along that road to the southern boundary of the aforesaid Waitomo County; thence again westerly generally along the southern boundary of that county to the middle of the Mokau River; thence north-easterly generally up the middle of that river to the crossing of the Mangapehi Road, the point of commencement.

The Te Kuiti Rabbit District Order 1960 (Notice No. Ag. 6928)

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 10th day of February 1960

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Te Kuiti Rabbit District Order 1960.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  2. The boundaries of the Te Kuiti Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 28th day of January 1942*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TE KUITI RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District in the Waitomo County and Te Kuiti Borough containing 455,300 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Urawitiki Point on the southern entrance to the Kawhia Harbour in Block IX, Kawhia North Survey District and proceeding south-easterly generally along the southern shores of the Kawhia Harbour and the southern boundary of the Otorohanga County as described in Gazette, 1956, page 422, to and down the middle of the Mangititi Stream to and up the middle of the Moakuraru Stream to and again along the aforesaid county boundary to its intersection with the middle of Tapuae Road; thence southerly generally along the middle of that road, the middle of Lemon Point - Caves Main Highway, the middle of Hangitiki-Caves Main Highway and the middle of Fullertons Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 9, Block XIV, Orahiri Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to and along that northern boundary and the northern boundaries of Sections 10 and 11 of the aforesaid survey district crossing and recrossing the intervening Fullertons Road, to and along the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 14, Block XV, Orahiri Survey District; thence southerly generally along a right line bearing 92° 09′ distant 1673·3 links to and along another right line bearing 100° 43′ distant 50 links to and up the middle of the Mangapu Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Kinohaku East 1F 29B 1; thence north-westerly along a right line to and along the aforesaid south-western boundary, the south-western boundary of Section 26, Block XV, Orahiri Survey District and again along the south-western boundary of 1F 29B 1 aforesaid to and along the eastern boundary of part Kinohaku East 1F 29D and that boundary produced to and southerly along the middle of Fullertons Road, the middle of the Te Kumi - Te Anga Main Highway, the middle of the Hamilton - Te Kuiti State Highway and along the middle of Somerville Road to and up the middle of the Mangaokewa Stream to and along the western boundary of Rangitoto Tuhua 68A 2B in Block VIII, Otanake Survey District; thence southerly generally along that western boundary and its production to and along the middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to the middle of the Mokau River in Block II, Mapara Survey District; thence south-westerly and westerly generally down the middle of the Mokau River to its mouth; thence northerly generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Stratford Borough Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft.


SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Stratford, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 1·36 perches, more or less, being Lots 9 and 10, L.T. Plan 8495, being part Sections 323, 361, and 362, Town of Stratford; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160802 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
