Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken and the portion of
public domain described in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart for a hospital; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of
December 1960.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 3 acres and 15·7 perches,
situated in the Borough of Rotorua, being part stopped street;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 1603 (S.O. 40540) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that portion of a public domain containing 1 acre and
24·1 perches, situated in the Borough of Rotorua, being
Block VI, Town of Rotorua; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1603 (S.O. 40540)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured sepia.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the
land described in the Schedule hereto, held by John Reece
Brown, of Auckland, auctioneer, under and by virtue of
lease No. 135, Auckland Land Registry, for a term com-
mencing on 2 December 1875 and ending on 1 December
1974, is hereby taken for a university; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day
of December 1960.

First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post office together
with an easement over the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and
free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to con-
struct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty's
servants, agents, workmen, and licensees from time to time
and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or
without vehicles over the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto and to maintain, repair, and keep open the
right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land
described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
26th day of December 1960.
