Additional Land at Tauraroa Taken for the Purposes of the
North Auckland Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the pur-
poses of the North Auckland Railway.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
A. R. P. Being
0 1 31·4 Part Allotments 54 and 55, Parish of Ruarangi.
Situated in Block VIII, Tangihua Survey District, Whanga-
rei County. (S.O. 42441.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17025 de-
positied in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

situated in Block I, Hamilton Survey District, City of Hamil-
ton. (S.O. 40454.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16800 de-
positied in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.

Crossing to the Purposes of a Road

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication
hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the road shall be
under the control of the Hobson County Council and shall be
maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land allocated to road:

0 0 23·9 Portions of railway land in Proclamation 5492;
