Declaring Lands in North Auckland and South Auckland
Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and South Auckland
Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested
in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto
being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto being an
area vested in the South Auckland Education Board as sites
for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen,
freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting
the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or
easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 82, Block V, Hukerenui Survey District: Area, 4
acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less.
Also part Section 71, Block V, Hukerenui Survey District:
Area, 8 acres and 30 perches, more or less, being the balance
of certificate of title, Volume 729, folio 27. As shown on the
plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242y deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon

3 roods 5Β·7 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title,
Volume 466, folio 55. As shown on the plan marked L. and S.
6/6/1236b deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

being an area vested in the Otago Education Board, and the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area
vested in the Southland Education Board, as sites for public
schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and

but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements
affecting the same at the date hereof.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a service lane;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 12th day of December 1960.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of Crown land containing 10Β·6 perches situ-
ated in Block I, Russell Survey District, Auckland R.D., and
adjoining Allotment 3, Section 12, Town of Russell; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 160809 (S.O. 41447) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of December 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development
of water power (Roxburgh Power Scheme); and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
12th day of December 1960.
