HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea at Blockhouse Bay, Manukau Harbour, the land coloured pink on plan marked M.D. 10668 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Constituting Certain Secondary Urban Fire Districts

ORDER THE Town District of Te Karaka and the Town District of Te Kauwhata are hereby constituted secondary urban fire districts by the names of the Te Karaka Secondary Fire District and the Te Kauwhata Secondary Urban Fire District respectively.

ORDER THE urban area of Orepuki in the County of Wallace and the urban area of Te Araroa in the County of Matakaoa are hereby constituted secondary urban fire districts by the names of the Orepuki Secondary Urban Fire District, and the Te Araroa Secondary Urban Fire District respectively.

Boundaries of County of Taranaki and City of New Plymouth Altered
Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 10th day of February 1960 Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER 1. On and from the 1st day of April 1960, the areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Taranaki and included in the City of New Plymouth. 2. The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF TARANAKI AND INCLUDED IN CITY OF NEW PLYMOUTH ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, situated in Block IV, Paritutu Survey District, containing 664 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 1, Deeds Plan 4, being a point on the boundary of the City of New Plymouth as described in Gazette, 1955, page 1818, and proceeding south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 844, Grey District, to and north-westerly along the north-eastern side of an unnamed road to a point of intersection with a line 2½ chains south-east of and parallel to Omata Road; thence south-westerly along right lines 2½ chains south-east of and parallel to Omata Road to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 14, D.P. 7335; thence north-westerly along the said north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 14 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 13, D.P. 7335; thence generally westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5, D.P. 7335, to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 7335; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 7335, and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 7335 and its production by a right line across Barrett Road and south-easterly by the south-western side of Barrett Road to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 7445; thence south-westerly and north-westerly by the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 7445, across South Road and north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 8313 and Lot 2, D.P. 5912 to the south-eastern boundary of Section 90, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District (Spotswood Settlement), and westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 90, and its production to the middle of the Herekawe Stream; thence down the middle of the Herekawe Stream to the mean high-water mark and generally northerly along the mean high-water mark to the south-eastern boundary of the Paritutu Centennial Park as defined on plan S.O. 7675; thence south-westerly along the said south-eastern boundary to low-water mark and generally northerly along the low-water mark, being the western boundary of the said Paritutu Centennial Park and including the outlying islands Motu-o-Tamotea, Mataora, and Pararaki, to the boundary of the City of New Plymouth; and thence generally easterly and southerly along the boundary of the City of New Plymouth as defined by Gazette, 1955, page 1818, to the point of commencement. Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, situated in Blocks IV and V, Paritutu Survey District, containing 273 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 67, D.P. 1704, being a point on the boundary of the City of New Plymouth as described in Gazette, 1955, at page 1818, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction along the north-western boundaries of Part A, D.P. 1119, and Lot 1, D.P. 5358 and that boundary produced across Veale Road and to a point 270 links distant from the south-western side of that road; thence north-westerly along a right line parallel to and 270 links distant from the south-western side of the said Veale Road to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 35, D.P. 8325; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of that lot and Lots 24, 25, 26, 27, 33, 28, 29, and 32, D.P. 8325 and the last-mentioned boundary produced across Frankley Road and to a point 250 links distant from the south-western side of that road; thence north-westerly along a right line 250 links distant from and parallel to the south-western side of the said Frankley Road and 270 links distant from and parallel to an unnamed public road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 893, Grey District, then south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that section and the south-eastern boundaries of Section 890, Grey District, and Lots 12, 13, and 14, D.P. 7949, to the southernmost
