In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Wayside Automatic Laundries Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office and carrying on business in Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 3rd day of November 1960, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £53,000 to £43,725 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 10th day of October 1960. The said minute being in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Wayside Automatic Laundries Ltd. is £43,725 divided into 53,000 fully paid ordinary shares of 16s. 6d. each, having been reduced from £53,000 divided into 53,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid.”

TARANAKI HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Harbours Act 1950 and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of all other powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki Harbour Board hereby resolves:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges payable in respect of the Taranaki Harbour Board Repayment Loan 1960, of £46,850, authorised to be raised by the Board by the terms of a sanction made by the Local Authorities Loans Board on the 10th day of May 1960, with the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, published in the Gazette of the 26th day of May 1960, No. 34, at page 697, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property described in the First Schedule to the Taranaki Harbour Board Empowering Act 1955 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the 1955 Act’) and therein referred to as Rating Area No. 1, two-thirds of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property described in the Second Schedule of the 1955 Act and therein referred to as Rating Area No. 2, and one-third of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property described in the Third Schedule to the 1955 Act and therein referred to as Rating Area No. 3, excepting however that part of such Rating Area No. 3 described in the First Schedule to the Taranaki Harbour Board Empowering Act 1954.”

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

Bridges Replacement Loan 1960, £60,000, Portion £20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of renewing various bridges throughout the county, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought seven nought two six four (0·070264d.) pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Rangitikei; and that such rate shall be annually recurring during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 10th day of November 1960.

TAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £66,000 authorised to be raised by the Tawa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out urgent street works and up grading of roads the said Tawa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 1·725d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Tawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Dated at Tawa this 9th day of November 1960.

VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1960 (£9,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Vincent County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £9,000 authorised to be raised by the Vincent County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a house property and the erection of two staff houses, including a double garage, the said Vincent County Council hereby makes a special rate of one twentieth of a penny (0·05d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special-rating area comprising the whole of the County of Vincent; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Vincent County Council held on the 22nd day of September 1960, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 27th day of October 1960.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,550 authorised to be raised by the Waimate Borough Council under the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Fire Services Act 1949, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, for the purpose of purchasing a new fire engine, the Waimate Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·183d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Waimate; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
