Member of Parole Board Appointed

PURSUANT to section 31 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to appoint

Keith Menzies, Esquire,

of Wellington, to act temporarily as a member of the Parole
Board during such times as John Lochiel Robson, Esquire, a
member of the said Board, is absent from meetings of the
Board to be held at Auckland commencing on 29 November
1960.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the City of Hamilton
for Public Buildings of the General Government, Being the
Property known as No. 30 Hinemoa Street, formerly
Tristram Street

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain
public work, to wit, the construction of public buildings of
the General Government; and for the purposes of that public
work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to
be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of
the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Chief
Post Office at Hamilton and is there open for inspection; and
that all persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land should if they have
any well grounded objections to the execution of the public
work or to the taking of the land set forth the same in
writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at
Wellington.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 31·2 perches situated in
the City of Hamilton, being Lot 8, D.P. 11429, being part
Allotments 249 and 250, Town of Hamilton West. All certificate of title, Volume 305, folio 14, Auckland Land Registry.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 1596 deposited in the office of the Minister
