Notice Under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953
PURSUANT to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the
Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that lists of unclaimed
moneys dated 30 September 1960 derived from the Ikaroa
Maori Land Court District, and held by him, have been
filed in the office of the Registrar of the Maori Land Court
at Whangarei, Auckland, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui,
Christchurch, and Palmerston North, and all the suboffices
of the Department of Maori Affairs, where the same may be
inspected during office hours without payment of a fee.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in County of Waitomo
(Notice No. Ag. 7138)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the
Acting Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation
from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the
said section, hereby publishes the following special order made
by the Waitomo County Council on the 14th day of October
1960.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Waitomo
County Council hereby resolves by way of special order that
the plants named hereunder (being plants mentioned in the
First Schedule to the said Act) are noxious weeds within the
County of Waitomo:
Barberry (Berberis vulgaris)
Bathurst bur (Xanthium spinosum)
Nodding Thistle (Carduus nutans)

NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson Lakes National Park
Board, in terms of section 34 of the National Parks Act 1952,
by resolution dated 11 September 1959 set apart as a wilderness area that part of the Nelson Lakes National Park containing 8,700 acres, more or less, and being all that area in
the Nelson Land District known as the West Sabine Valley
and bounded as follows:
Bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the
west and east branches of the Sabine River and proceeding
westerly along a right line to Mount Windward; thence
southerly generally along the western watershed of the west
branch of the Sabine River to Mount Mahanga, being a point
on the summit of the Spenser Mountains; thence north-
easterly generally along the summit of the said Spenser
Mountains to the eastern watershed of the west branch of
the Sabine River; thence northerly generally along the
last-mentioned watershed through Mount Franklyn to the
point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan
marked L. and S. N.P. 26B deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.
The wilderness area will be subject to the restrictions
imposed by section 34 of the National Parks Act 1952 and by
the Nelson Lakes National Park Bylaws.
