Price Order No. 1821 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 1789 (Spirits and Beer))

Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following amending Price Order:

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1821, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1789* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. This order shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1960.

  3. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking clause 9 thereof and substituting the following new clause:

"9. Notwithstanding the provisions of this order the maximum price that may be charged by the holder of a conditional licence, under the authority of that licence, for beer, including beer served from the original bottle, shall be 6d. and in no case shall the capacity of the container in which the beer is served be less than 4 oz."

Revoking in Part a Notice Defining Lands in Hawke's Bay Land District to Which Water is Supplied Pursuant to Section 8 of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1939

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 50 of the Land Act 1948, it is hereby notified that the notice pursuant to subsection (5) of section 8 of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1939, published in Gazette, 21 March 1946, Vol. I, page 358, is accordingly revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

Lots 25, 28, 33, 36, 37, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, and 46, D.P. 6257, and the subsequent subdivisions of the aforementioned lots shown on D.P. 7507, D.P. 7634, D.P. 7829, D.P. 9507, D.P. 9663, D.P. 9799, D.P. 9965, D.P. 9996, D.P. 9997, D.P. 9998, and D.P. 10192, being part Te Whare-o-Maraenui Block, part Te Whare-o-Maraenui No. 1 Block, and part old bed of Tutaekuri River: Area, 61 acres and 24·5 perches, more or less.
