A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block II, Town of Albert Town, Otago R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining
0 0 10·4 Section 11.
0 0 12·3 Sections 17 to 22 inclusive.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1348 (S.O. 12894) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1960.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of road containing 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches situated in Blocks VI and VII, Mangonui Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining parts Allotment 19, part Allotments 22 and 66A, Mangonui East Parish, and Section 1, Block VII, Mangonui Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157038 (S.O. 40583) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of October 1960.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Deviation of Portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of October 1945, published in Gazette, 11 October 1945, Vol. III, page 1264, and registered as No. 3605, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a deviation of portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 36·13 perches situated in the Borough of Tawa, Wellington R.D., being Lot 32, D.P. 14282, being part Section 51, Porirua District. All certificate of title, Volume 604, folio 297, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1960.

Taking Land for Public Purposes at Alofi (Niue)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of October 1960
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 357 of the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby takes the land described in the Schedule hereto for the following public purposes, namely, public buildings.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 3 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, situated in the district of Alofi in the Island of Niue, Cook Islands, being the whole of the land known as Ali-luki No. 2, Section 49, Alofi District, and being all the land comprised in an order of the Native Land Court made on the 22nd day of June 1950 on investigation of title; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner of Niue and deposited in the office of the Registrar, Native Land Court, Niue, under No. 40.

The Ohura North Rabbit District Order 1960 (Notice No. Ag. 7135)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of October 1960
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Ohura North Rabbit District Order 1960.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Ohura North Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of August 1941,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE OHURA NORTH RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area situated in the Taranaki Land District, being portions of the Taumarunui and Waitomo Counties, containing 127,894 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line with the southern boundary of Block III, Tangitu Survey District; thence southerly down the middle of the said river to the boundary of the Tokirima Rabbit District; thence generally westerly along the boundary of the Tokirima Rabbit District as hereinbefore described to a point being the intersection of the northern boundary of Section 2, Block I, Ohura Survey District, and the western boundary of Sub-section 2 of Section 3, Block XIII, Aria Survey District; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of the aforementioned subsection and also Section 2, Block XIII, Aria Survey District, to the northern boundary of Block XIII, Aria Survey District; thence generally easterly along the northern boundaries of Blocks XIII and XIV, Aria Survey District, to a point 40 chains north-west of Section 26, Block XV, Aria Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to a point on the eastern boundary of Block X, Aria Survey District, distant 60 chains north-west of the northernmost corner of the said Section 26; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of Block X, Aria Survey District, to the southern boundary of the Waitomo County, and generally easterly along the southern boundary of the Waitomo County, as described in Gazette, 1939, pages 1535 and 1536, to the eastern side of Kakara Road in Block IV, Aria Survey District; thence northerly and easterly by the said road to and southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block IV, Aria Survey District; thence easterly generally by the northern boundaries of Section 9, 10, and I, Block V, Tangitu Survey District, to the southern boundary of Block I, Tangitu Survey District; thence generally easterly by the southern boundaries of the said Block I and Blocks II and III, Tangitu Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Ongarue River, being the point of commencement.
