Land Taken for the Auckland Harbour Bridge in the City
of Auckland
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland Harbour
Bridge and shall vest in the Auckland Harbour Bridge
Authority as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 31st day of October 1960.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XVI, Waitemata
Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., described
as follows:

Being
0 0 3·7 Part Lot 7, D.P. 19465, being part Allotment 12,
Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured blue
on plan.
0 0 5·1 Part Lot 6, D.P. 19465, being part Allotment 12,
Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured blue
on plan.
0 0 16 Part Lot 3, D.P. 19465, being part Allotment 12,
Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured
yellow on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 1371 (S.O. 42029) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
31st day of October 1960.

District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 6 acres 1 rood 27·86 perches
situated in the Borough of Masterton, Wellington R.D., being
Lot 96, D.P. 21497, being part Sections 16 and 17, Masterton
Small Farm Settlement. Part Proclamation No. 432600, Wel-
lington Land Registry.

being part Kaokaoroa Block, and Lot 1, Deeds Plan 713,
being part Block I, Te Mata Crown Grant District; coloured
green on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 1349 (S.O. 3200) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
