Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Wellington Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Wellington Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

SECTIONS 41, 42, 45, 46, 51, 52, 55, 56, 61, and 62, Village of Mairoa, situated in Block VIII, Maungamangero Survey District: Area, 4 acres 2 roods 28Β·6 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 13325.)

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 18th day of September 1947, and published in Gazette, 25 September 1947, Volume III, page 1373, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 6, Block XI, Kawhia South Survey District: Area, 80 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 34/515A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 39674.)

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, subject as to part to the right of way created by transfer No. 29150, Nelson Land Registry, is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of October 1960.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 39Β·63 perches situated in Block IV, Motueka Survey District, Nelson R.D., being Lot 2, D.P. 5945, being part Section 153, Motueka Original. Part certificate of title, Volume 82, folio 165, Nelson Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a university; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of October 1960.
