Road Closed in Block VI, Hinds Survey District, Ashburton County

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District

ALL that piece of road containing 34 perches situated in Block VI, Hinds Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining or passing through Reserve 3967, part Reserve 2406, and Lot 1, D.P. 229, being part Rural Section 4391; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 614 (S.O. 9665) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of October 1960.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of October 1960.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District

All those pieces of Crown land containing 1 rood 39·5 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch, and being Lots 530, 531, and 532, D.P. 21009, being portions of Rural Section 1135. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 459, folio 272, Canterbury Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of October 1960.

At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of October 1960

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Milton Borough Council.

All those pieces of road situated in Block XVI, Tokomairiro Survey District, Borough of Milton, Otago R.D., described as follows:

Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949, and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Volume II, page 1625, appointing five non-elective members of the Manawatu Catchment Board, by deleting "Fields Superintendent, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North", and substituting "District Soil Conservator, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North".
