NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 30th day of August 1960, presented to the said Court by Margaret Evelyn Lang, of Levin, trading as Lang's Nurseries; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Palmerston North on the 4th day of November 1960, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of the hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workers Housing Loan £7,000, 1959
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of seven thousand pounds (£7,000) authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the purchase of land the erection of two workers dwellings thereon, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of one penny (¹⁄₁₆d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the whole of the County of Bay of Islands; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Bay of Islands was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Bay of Islands County Council in the presence of:

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one million one hundred and eighty-seven thousand pounds (£1,187,000) to be known as the Administration Building Loan 1960, £1,187,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting a new administration building, carrying out incidental works thereto, providing fittings, floor coverings, and furnishings, and developing an adjacent site area for a civic square, and the cost of raising the loan; the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and two-thirds of a penny (2²⁄₃ of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above is a certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 19th day of September 1960.

WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension and Reinforcement Loan (1960) £500,000: Portion of £250,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956, and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers it enabling the Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of interest and yearly instalments of principal and other charges on a loan of £250,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Acts in order to provide additional moneys for the purpose of extending and reinforcing the supply of electricity within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 63/1000 of a 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said District appearing in the Gazette dated 18 October 1923 and amended by Proclamations appearing in the Gazettes dated 27 November 1924, 26 August 1926, 7 March 1929, 24 January 1935, and 14 April 1954; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was carried at a meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board held on the 26th day of September 1960.
