SCHEDULE

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable shall be ten pounds (£10).
  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1960.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Extending a 30 Miles per Hour Speed Limit

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

(1) That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 17th day of March 1958,* which relates to Moerewa in Bay of Islands County is hereby revoked.
(2) The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Bay of Islands County at Moerewa: No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from a point 24 chains measured in a westerly direction from its junction with Otiaria Station Road to a point 20 chains measured in a westerly direction from the junction of the said State highway with Saies Road.

Otiaria Station Road from its junction with No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 24 chains measured in a south-westerly direction from the said junction.
