A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of road in Block II, Awa-a-te-atua Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through

2 2 12·8 Lot 2, D.P. 24264, being part Allotment 169, Matata Parish, and Allotment 324, Matata Parish.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1205 (S.O. 39920) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Paeroa

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for sites for dwellings for employees of Government Railways Department and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Paeroa Borough Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

ALL that piece of land containing 6·2 perches situated in Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District, Borough of Paeroa, Auckland R.D., being railway land in Proclamation No. 6019, being part Eastern portion of Hararahi No. 1 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 480 (S.O. 35916) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
SECTION 25 (formerly part Section 17), Block VI, Waoku Survey District: Area, 379 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 676, folio 149. As shown on plan No. 7/50 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto as Maori reservations for the purposes set out opposite each block respectively, such reservations to be for the common use and benefit of the Te Uriroroi Parawhau and Mahurihuri subtribes of Ngapuhi.

At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day of September 1960

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road known as Luxmore Road extension, situated in Block V, Mararoa Survey District, Wallace County, commencing at its junction with the part of Luxmore Road declared County road by Gazette 1959, Volume III, page 1921, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally through Lot 1, Run 301c, for a distance of approximately 2 miles 10 chains; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 948 (S.O. 6684) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
