PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Service Act 1912, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, hereby declares that nothing in the Public Service Act 1912 shall apply to the persons described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the bed of the Whau River the land edged orange on plan marked M.D. 10836 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Authorising the Marlborough Harbour Board to Reclaim Land in Picton Harbour

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Marlborough Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea in Picton Harbour the land coloured red on plan marked M.D. 10847 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such reclamation to be carried out in accordance with the said plan.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Four Peaks Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Four Peaks Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of August 1949,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE FOUR PEAKS RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Geraldine, Mackenzie, and Ashburton, Canterbury Land District, containing 356,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of Firewood Stream and the Opihi River, Block XIII, Opuha Survey District; thence proceeding north-westerly up the middle of Firewood Stream to Tekapo Saddle on the Two Thumb Range; thence northerly generally along the summit of the Two Thumb Range to and along the eastern boundary of Run 77A to the south-western boundary of Pastoral Run 110A (Mesopotamia); thence south-easterly and north-easterly generally along that boundary to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Pastoral Run 241 (Ben McLeod) to the south-western corner of Rural Section 36722; thence south-easterly generally along the southern boundary of Rural Section 36722 and the south-western boundaries of Rural Sections 36723, 36724, Pastoral Run 251, Rural Sections 36720, and the western boundary of Run 3 (Mt. Peel) to the south-western corner of the said Run 3; thence easterly along the southern boundary of that run to the western boundary of Reserve 3796; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of that reserve and its production to the middle of Peel Forest Road; thence southerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Reserve 3899; thence westerly to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said reserve; thence along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Reserve 3797; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Reserve 3797; the western boundary of Reserve 4218, the southern and western boundaries of Reserve 3797, the southern and western boundaries of Reserve 4202, southern boundary of Reserve 4203 to the eastern boundary of Reserve 4019; thence southerly along that boundary to the northern boundary of part Rural Section 30851; thence easterly and southerly along that boundary and the northern and eastern boundaries of Reserve 2276 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a road forming the northern boundaries of Rural Sections 7159, 30933, and 32893; thence westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Run 4C; thence southerly generally to and along the eastern boundaries of Runs 4C and 4B and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a road forming the northern boundary of Rural Section 37454; thence easterly along the middle of that road to its intersection with the middle line of a road forming the eastern boundary of the said Rural Section 37454; thence south-westerly along a right line to a point in the middle of Orari Gorge Road in line with the southern boundary of Rural Section 37454; thence north-westerly along the middle of Orari Gorge Road to a point due west of the southernmost corner of Run 4A; thence due west along a right line to the middle of the Orari River; thence south-easterly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 28, Tripp Settlement; thence south-westerly generally to and along that boundary to the middle of a road passing through the said Section 28; thence south-easterly along the middle of that road to the middle of Yates Road; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of Yates Road, Clarks Road, and a road forming the western boundary of Section 10, Tripp Settlement, to the middle of the Waihi River; thence north-westerly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of Ribys Road; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the middle of Ribys Road, Waihi Gorge Road, and Woodbury Road to the middle of Sercombes Road; thence westerly along the middle of that road to the middle of McKeowns Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of McKeowns Road, Woodside Road, Wells Road to a public road passing through Rural Sections 9009 and 8218; thence westerly generally along the middle of that road, Gapes Valley Road, Howes Road, Beautiful Valley Road, crossing the Opuha River to and along Cattle Valley Road and Allandale Road to the middle of the Opihi River; thence north-westerly up the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council of 22 June 1949, published in the Gazette, 30 June 1949, page 1425, licensing Norman Henry Kuhtz to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Mangonui Harbour as a site for a shop and dwelling, by adding after the words “M.D. 8887” the words “and “M.D. 10794”.
