Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Deviation of Portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of October 1945, published in Gazette, 11 October 1945, Volume III, page 1264, and registered as No. 3605, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a deviation of portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Land, Together With Right of Way, Taken for a Local Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, and Revoking Previous Proclamation

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 28 April 1960 and published in Gazette, 5 May 1960, No. 29, page 578, declaring land taken for a local work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, and, pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, together with the right of way appurtenant thereto described in the Second Schedule hereto, created by Proclamation No. 7225, Otago Land Registry, to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 13 perches situated in Block XVI, Benmore Survey District, Otago R.D., being part Section 4; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152034 (S.O. 11949) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 7 acres and 21·1 perches situated in Block XVI, Benmore Survey District, Otago R.D., being part Section 4; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152034 (S.O. 11949) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow and edged red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
SECTION 5, Block V, Makaretu Survey District: Area, 1,325 acres 3 roods, more or less. As shown on plan No. 78/11 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 3232.)

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes Near Pukemaori to the Purposes of a Road
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Wallace County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land allocated to road: 14·6 perches.
Being part railway land adjoining Section 30, Maori Hill Settlement.
Situated in Block XI, Waiau Survey District, Wallace County. (S.O. 6631.) In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16539 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
