Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject as to Parts to Certain Rights

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 9th day of July 1960, subject as to Lots 5 and 6, D.P. 46768, to the building-line restriction contained in K. 70384, and subject as to Lots 45 and 46, L.T. Plan 48101, to the fencing agreements contained in memoranda of transfer No. 248223 and 613814, and subject as to Lots 32 and 41, D.P. 45530, to the building-line restriction contained in K. 62676, and subject as to Lot 28, D.P. 46794, to the building-line restriction contained in K. 66536 and to the drainage easement created in and by memorandum of transfer No. 623799, Auckland Land Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at New Lynn and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Taumarunui County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by two sections as follows:
Section 1:
Western Lakeshore Section: as described in the First Schedule hereto.
Section 2:
Remainder of County Section: as described in the Second Schedule hereto.

TAUMARUNUI COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME
Section 1: Western Lakeshore Section
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Wellington Land Districts, Taumarunui County, bounded by a line commencing at Kakaramea Trig. Station in Block VIII, Puketi Survey District, and proceeding northerly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Hauhungaroa No. 5 in Block VII, Puketapu Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundary of that block to the eastern boundary of Waihaha 3A; thence northerly along that boundary to the boundary of the Taumarunui County as described in Gazette, 1959, page 1515; thence easterly and southerly along that county boundary to the south-western boundary of Waihi-Kahokaharoa No. 7 in Block IX, Puketi Survey District: thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Waihi-Kahakaharoa No. 7, 6B, and 5 to the point of commencement.

Section 2: Remainder of County Section
ALL that land being the balance of the County of Taumarunui, as described in the Gazette of 22 October 1959 at page 1515, after excluding section 1 described above.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Wellington City Council (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Wellington City Council in the interests of the Wellington City District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of August 1961 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of August 1961.
