Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for off-street parking to a reserve for recreation purposes.

Social Security Amendment Act 1939 - Maternity Notice

Pursuant to section 13 (5) of the Social Security Amendment Act 1939, the Minister of Health hereby gives notice that advice has been received from John Martin Twhigg, M.D., CH.B., F.R.C.P., F.R.A.C.P., of 530 A.M.P. Building, Lambton Quay, Wellington, that he is unwilling to afford medical services in relation to maternity on the terms provided for in section 13 of the Social Security Amendment Act 1939, and that consequently he is entitled to recover any fees in respect of his professional services as if that Act had not been passed.
