of J. C. Seelye (Dunedin) Ltd. (in liquidation).

THE liquidator of J. C. Seelye (Dunedin) Ltd., which is
being wound up voluntarily doth hereby fix the 12th day of
September 1960 as the day on or before which the creditors
of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to
establish any title they may have to priority under section
308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any
distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case
may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION FOR VOLUNTARY WINDING UP

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Crane Construction Co. Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute
book of the above-named company on the 23rd day of August
1960, the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the
company, namely:

"That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and
that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily."

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an entry in its minute book
signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies
Act 1955, the above-named company on the 23rd day of
August 1960 passed a resolution for voluntary winding up and
that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company
will accordingly be held at the Board Room of the Auckland
Chamber of Commerce, Courthouse Lane, Auckland, on
Thursday, the 1st day of September 1960, at 2.30 p.m.

Business:

(1) Consideration of a statement of position of the companies affairs and list of creditors, etc.

(2) Nomination of liquidator.

(3) Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

29th day of July 1960, the Supreme Court at Wellington
approved the scheme, dated 22 September 1959, as reported
upon by the Attorney-General in his report, dated 28
April 1960, concerning the matter of a certain trust created
by the will of John Smith, late of Levin, retired farmer,
deceased.

SPECIAL ORDER ALTERING TOTAL NUMBER OF COUNCILLORS
FROM NINE TO TWELVE

"THAT, pursuant to section 53 (2) of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Council of the Borough of Rotorua hereby
resolves, so that this resolution may be confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council and operate as a special order,
that the total number of Councillors be altered from nine to twelve."

The above resolution by way of special order was passed
at a special meeting of the Rotorua Borough Council convened for the purpose on Monday, 18 July 1960, and confirmed
at a subsequent meeting of the said Council held on
Thursday, 18 August 1960. This notice is gazetted pursuant
to section 53 (2) of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

TE AWAMUTU ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £60,000 authorised to be raised by the Te Awamutu
Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of supplying and distributing electricity for the
benefit of the Te Awamutu Electric Power District, the said
Te Awamutu Electric Power Board hereby makes a special
rate of one-fifth of one penny (½d.) in the pound (£) upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property in the Te Awamutu Electric Power
District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
