A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river control purposes and shall vest in the Marlborough Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1960.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 1·65 perches situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough R.D., being part Lot 470, Deeds Plan 15, being Section 1, Omaka Registration District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 604 (S.O. 4415) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1960.
