Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Waikato Hospital Board

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for hospital purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Waikato Hospital Board, in trust, for that purpose.

Licensing D. R. Curry, D. F. C. Elphingston-Jolly, D. M. Matich, T. R. Matich, and F. Yorke to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Ruawai as a Site for a Wharf

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licences and permits Douglas Reginald Curry, David Frederick Charles Elphingston-Jolly, Douglas Milton Matich, Tasman Ronald Matich, and Ferguson Yorke, fishermen, of Ruawai (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Ruawai, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10459 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a wharf, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The premium payable by the licensees shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

(3) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of August 1960.

Revoking a Notice Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 8th day of July 1959, and published in the Gazette, 16 July 1959, No. 43, page 971, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin as No. 7742, declaring land taken for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land.
